We started the new year off right yesterday with a lovely walk at Oakwell Hall in Birstall. For what feels like the one day only since Christmas, we had some lovely winter sunshine and decided to make the most of it!

Oakwell Hall is a Grade I Listed Elizabethan manor house with a dedicated trail for walkers and cyclists. It has 110 acres of Green Flag Award winning parkland with period gardens and nature trails, and is very dog friendly. My two loved the new sniffs and even had a paddle (which is good because they were both very muddy). There is plenty of car parking within the Hall grounds and its totally free :)

I’ve made a list of the new places we’re going to visit with (and without) the dogs this year, and I’ll be sharing them on here throughout 2024. As my husband says I’m obsessed with finding new locations!
